How it all came about

I’ve spent 30 years telling stories for the world’s biggest broadcasters inclouding Netflix, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, and Paramount+.

And what I've loved most is meeting people of all walks of life, hearing their stories and capturing them for television audiences.

This was the inspiration for Treasured Films. What if rather than capturing people's stories for audiences I did instead for the families, creating personal heirlooms that would stay with them forever. I could turn my award-winning experience, from BAFTAs to RTS, Rose D'Or to Griersons, to capturing the fleeting, funny, and heartfelt moments of families across the country.

So that I can reach nationwide, I have brought in trusted colleagues from the TV production freelance community with the same skills and experience, delivering the same high quality of cherished films.

Now, instead of filming celebrities and contributors in extreme or unusual environments, we’re filming your brilliant, adorable kids talk about themselves, their families and what they love. And the lovely grandparents get to reflect on a lifetime full of love, lessons learnt and laughter.

We're swapping the international shoots and high pressure edits for the warmth of your homes and families, making forever memories that will last way beyond the shelf life of a TV programme.

We’re having tremendous fun. And the kids and grandparents are too.

What you get

We create films of your children and the grandparents that you’ll treasure forever.

Each film making booking includes the free discovery call, a 30-60 minute interview per child or grandparent where they will share their dreams, passions, memories and love for family. And there will be candid moments of them ooing the things they love, sharing times witrh those they love, and portrait shots that capture their personality perfectly.

We like to weave in your own photos, phone clips, and performance videos to bring the story to life. And it makes those moments lost on the hard drive or on DVDs gathering dust come to life in a way you never imagined.

The end result? A heartfelt, warm and fun film your family will want to watch again and again.
